Four sectors have not stumbled for 12 quarters

The Turkish economy has continued its uninterrupted growth for 18 quarters. The sectors of services, finance and insurance, real estate, and public administration, education, human health, and social work activities have been supporting the process positively for the past 3 years.
The Turkish economy showed a growth of 3.2% in 2024. According to the data from the Turkish Statistical Institute (TÜİK), the country’s economy has been growing continuously for 18 quarters.
During this period, the sectors of services, finance and insurance, real estate, and public administration, education, human health, and social work activities have not faltered the economy. The services sector recorded a growth of 12.7% in 2022, 7.5% in 2023, and 3.1% in 2024. The finance and insurance sector also grew by 20.7% in 2022, 8.5% in 2023, and 4.9% last year, while the real estate sector completed 2022 with 6.3%, 2023 with 3.9%, and 2024 with 2.4% growth. The sector of public administration, education, human health, and social work activities, on the other hand, grew by 3.3% in 2022, 3.9% in 2023, and 1.8% last year. Thus, these 4 sectors, for the past 3 years, have positively contributed to growth for 12 quarters, providing support to the country’s economy.
