The Federal Reserve (Fed) has released its audited financial statements for the year 2024.

The Fed reported an operational loss of $77.6 billion in 2024. The operational loss disclosed by the Fed for the year 2024, as per its audited financial statements, was calculated at $77.6 billion.

In 2023, the bank also announced an operational loss of $114.3 billion.

The Fed had last reported a profit in 2022, with earnings of $58.8 billion.
