A support payment of 5 billion 602 million 227 thousand 506 lira will be transferred to farmers’ accounts today, it has been announced. Minister of Agriculture and Forestry, Ibrahim Yumaklı, stated that the support payment of 5 billion 602 million 227 thousand 506 lira will be transferred to the accounts of farmers today. Yumaklı made a post on his social media account regarding the agricultural support payment. Wishing the best of luck and abundance with the support payment, Yumaklı said, “We are empowering our producers, providing a lifeline to Anatolia. We are transferring the support payment of 5 billion 602 million 227 thousand lira to our farmers’ accounts today.” According to the information shared in the post, the support amounts were determined as 5 billion 442 million 194 thousand 447 lira for diesel and fertilizer, 22 million 701 thousand 971 lira for rural development investments, 3 million 957 thousand 819 lira for certified seedling production, 112 million 96 thousand 810 lira for animal disease compensation, 18 million 248 thousand 925 lira for animal genetic resources, 2 million 592 thousand 534 lira for certified seed production, and 435 thousand lira for waste. Diesel and fertilizer payments will be made according to the schedule specified in the post, while other supports will be transferred to farmers’ accounts in a single installment.
