While citizens expecting a change in the retirement bonus amount continue to have question marks, the first official statement has been made. Labor and Social Security Minister Vedat Işıkhan announced that they will work on holiday bonuses for retirees. Expectations are towards increasing bonuses to a range of 4,500 to 5,000 Turkish Lira. Those receiving retirement pension, old age pension, duty disability pension, disability pension, death pension, permanent incapacity income, death income, as well as relatives of martyrs, veterans, combat veterans, security volunteers, champion athletes, civilian citizens affected by terrorism, and their beneficiaries will receive the holiday bonus from the Social Security Institution (SGK).
