Following the increase in retiree salaries in January 2025, it was expected to announce when the arrears would be paid. The date for retirees’ arrears payments has been announced. According to the statement, the salary differences will be deposited into accounts tomorrow.

While the minimum retiree pension was raised from 12,500 TL to 14,469 TL, the related regulation passed through the Parliament, published in the Official Gazette, and came into effect.

Social Security Institution (SSI) and Bağ-Kur retirees were curious about when the salary differences would be deposited. According to the statement from the SSI, the salary differences will be deposited into accounts tomorrow (February 11, 2025).

The statement included, “We are paying the arrears to our retirees and beneficiaries. You can withdraw your payments from the bank and PTT branches where you receive your income/pension. You can collect them on February 11, 2025.” How MUCH ARREARS WILL BE DEPOSITED TO RETIREES?

Under the regulation, the minimum wage earners among retirees will receive an arrears payment of 1,969 TL.
