Economists had predicted the current account deficit to reach 9.651 billion dollars in 2024, and by the end of 2025, it was expected to be 19.909 billion dollars.

The Medium-Term Program had estimated the 2024 current account deficit to be 22 billion dollars.

Excluding gold and energy, a surplus of 2.466 billion dollars was recorded in the current account balance.

The defined trade deficit in the balance of payments was 6.243 billion dollars in December.

During this period, net inflows due to service balance amounted to 3.148 billion dollars, with net revenues from transportation services and travel services standing at 1.459 billion dollars and 2.142 billion dollars, respectively.
