Cost of Living in Istanbul Exceeds 85 Thousand Lira
The cost of living for a family of four in Istanbul has surpassed 85 thousand lira.
The Istanbul Planning Agency (IPA) has revealed the results of the cost of living for the month of February. According to the research, the cost of living in Istanbul has increased by 54.47% compared to the same month last year.
The average cost of living for a family of four has risen to 85,453 lira. The cost of living has shown an increase of 3.10% compared to the previous month. One of the most significant price increases in February was a 42.38% increase in baby food product prices. Biscuit prices rose by 86.05%, toilet paper by 95.01%, and tomatoes by 50.25%.
