The Ministry of Trade announced the seizure of 728 kilograms of narcotics with a market value of 572 million lira in Kapıkule, Hamzabeyli, and Hatay.

According to the Ministry, approximately 544 kilograms of skunk were seized at the Hamzabeyli Customs Gate, about 61 kilograms of cannabis at the Kapıkule Customs Gate. In addition, approximately 123 kilograms (701,925 pieces) of captagon were found in a container at the Iskenderun Port. Investigations regarding the operations are ongoing at the Edirne and Iskenderun Public Prosecutors’ Offices.
