Citizen’s inflation expectations increased

The inflation expectation for the next 12 months of citizens increased by 0.4 points to 59.2 percent. The Central Bank announced the results of the February sectoral inflation expectation survey. Accordingly, in February, the annual inflation expectations for the next 12 months increased by 0.4 points to 59.2 percent for households. During the same period, it decreased by 0.1 points to 25.3 percent for market participants and decreased by 1.9 points to 41.9 percent for the real sector. The percentage of households expecting inflation to decrease in the next 12 months decreased by 2.5 points to 28.3 percent compared to the previous month.
