Deputy President Cevdet Yılmaz stated, “The foundations of our economy are strong. We are continuing to implement our economic program with determination and coordination.”

Deputy President Cevdet Yılmaz conveyed the message of determination in implementing the economic program through his social media account.

In his post, Yılmaz mentioned the following:

“Our economy’s foundations are robust. We are persistently and coordinately carrying out our economic program. Our current account deficit is low, budget deficit is under control despite earthquake expenses, Central Bank reserves are at sufficient levels, our banking system is sound, employment is increasing with balanced growth while our unemployment rate has remained in the single digits for a long time, inflation, which we see as a top priority, is on a downward trend. Regionally, we contribute to peace and stability with effective diplomacy, and domestically, we strengthen peace and security with the goal of a Terror-Free Turkey. All relevant institutions closely monitor the markets and seasonal developments, and take necessary steps.”
