The Ministry of Trade continues to announce products identified as unsafe by the authorized institutions conducting market surveillance and inspection activities through the Unsafe Product Information System.The Ministry announced in its latest announcement via the Unsafe Product Information System (UPIS) that a product has been decided to be recalled due to its threat to child safety.A 2-year-old snap-closure bodysuit in blue color from the Hello Baby (E Bebek) brand in the baby clothing product group (Hello Baby snap-closure bodysuit blue color, barcode number 86827667217416) will be recalled. The photos of the product were also shared, with the reason for lack of safety stated as “Female snap fastener fractures under 65.62 Newton force, enters the small cylindrical part representing the child’s throat.”Regarding the risks of the product in question, it was noted “Choking (obstruction of the airway from outside the mouth and nose), Injuries.”According to the notification dated 04.02.2025, one of the products listed was a bead-shooting toy gun.There was also an announcement in the same list that the supply and recall of the sequin-embellished girl’s dress under the brand Le Mabellle was banned.
