Within the project, newlywed couples taking the first step towards building a family are provided with an interest-free loan support of 150 thousand Turkish Liras, repayable over 48 months with a grace period of 2 years. There have been over 50 thousand applications for marriage loans. Babies born in 2025 and beyond will receive a baby support of 5 thousand Turkish Liras every month for 60 months. A one-time payment of 5 thousand Liras is available for the first child, followed by a monthly payment of 1,500 Liras starting from the month the second child is applied for, until they reach the age of 5 (including the sixtieth month). For the third child and subsequent children, a monthly payment of 5 thousand Liras will be made until they reach the age of 5 (including the sixtieth month) starting from the month the application is made for them. Baby support applications will start after the holiday. Minister of Family and Social Services Mahinur Özdemir Göktaş announced that they will disclose the discounts made with special firms on home appliances and furniture for young people wanting to start a family. Göktaş emphasized that protocols were ready with leading companies in the sector, and these will be announced within April. Support for Togg is being worked on for families about to purchase their first car. Families with 3 or more children will benefit from the First Car Domestic Automobile Family Support Program. Within the program, it is planned to provide long-term financing options compatible with the purchasing power of low-income groups. While it is stated that support for Togg is in its final stages, the activation date has not been announced yet. Special discounts have been introduced for families and newlyweds on train journeys. Under this scheme, families can travel with a 15% discount by buying a minimum of 3 and maximum of 11 tickets. For couples married in 2025, a ‘Newlywed Rate’ will be introduced. This will enable newlyweds to purchase train tickets with a 50% discount. Citizens will be able to benefit from discounted rates starting from March 8. The discount rate for families has been increased in intercity bus companies. Companies can apply a maximum discount rate of 40% for at least 2 and up to 4 passengers with the same surname or proved to be a family wanting to travel on the same vehicle and route. Within the Family Year, Turkish Airlines has started implementing a 15% discount on domestic flights. The application will be valid until the end of 2025. A minimum of 3 and a maximum of 9 family members with the same surname making the same reservation will be eligible for a discount on domestic flights. Cinema theaters that are members of the Cinema Theater Investors Association (SİSAY) will apply up to 40% discounts for families on Mondays and Wednesdays throughout 2025.
