TPAO has applied for the expansion of the oil exploration license area in Siirt and Şırnak. Turkey’s Petroleum Corporation (TPAO) has submitted an application for the enlargement of the exploration license area in Siirt and Şırnak. The Decisions Related to Petroleum Rights of the Ministry of Energy and Natural Resources General Directorate of Mining and Petroleum Affairs were published in the Official Gazette. Accordingly, TPAO applied for the addition of 15,346 hectares of M48-c3 sheet to its AR/TPO/K/M48-c1 sheet oil exploration license area in Siirt and Şırnak.
