Ankara Public Bread Company revealed that a 350-gram Ramadan bread will be sold for 13 lira throughout the Ramadan month. An announcement made on Ankara Public Bread Company’s social media accounts stated, “Following the price increases of bread, the price of Public Bread in Ankara was eagerly awaited. We continue to support family budgets with our most affordable prices. Throughout the Ramadan month, we will sell the 350-gram Ramadan bread in our Capital Markets for 13 TL.” The President of the Turkish Bakers Federation, Halil İbrahim Balcı, had announced that the new price for a 250-gram bread during the Ramadan month will be 20 lira. The weight of the 340-gram bread has been increased to 370 grams, with a price set at 30 lira.
