In the United States, there was weak support for President Trump’s foreign trade policies. According to a survey, 60% of participants opposed Trump’s policies. In a survey conducted by the Associated Press (AP)-NORC Public Relations Research Center from March 20 to 24, 1229 adult Americans participated. The participants evaluated Trump’s attitudes on various policies such as irregular immigration, economy, trade, the Russia-Ukraine War, and the Israel-Palestine issue, in addition to his presidential duties. As a result, 49% of participants expressed support for Trump’s irregular immigration policies, while 50% opposed them. Regarding Trump’s stance on the Israel-Palestine issue, 54% of the participants disapproved, while 44% approved. Furthermore, while various countries reacted to Trump’s tariff decisions, 60% of the participants did not approve of the U.S. President’s attitude in trade negotiations with other countries, while 38% expressed approval. Additionally, 56% of participants mentioned that they did not support Trump’s stance on the Russia-Ukraine War, while 41% supported it. The survey results revealed that 56% of participants generally did not approve of Trump’s presidential administration, while 42% approved.
