AJet to Commence Flights to Damascus on April 21

Following Turkish Airlines (THY), AJet is also starting flights to the capital of Syria, Damascus. The inaugural flight will take place on April 21.
Celebrating its 1st year anniversary, AJet has added Damascus to its international flight destinations.
Flights will operate 4 days a week from Istanbul Sabiha Gökçen Airport and 3 days a week from Ankara Esenboğa Airport to Damascus.
Tickets for passengers wanting to travel to Damascus are now on sale starting from $149, approximately 5,700 Turkish Liras.
Transport and Infrastructure Minister Abdulkadir Uraloğlu announced that AJet’s flights from Sabiha Gökçen Airport to Damascus will commence on April 21, with Ankara-Damascus flights starting on April 22.
In a written statement, Uraloğlu provided information about AJet’s Damascus flights from Ankara Esenboğa and Sabiha Gökçen airports. Reminding that Istanbul-Damascus flights started on January 23, connecting Syria to the world, Uraloğlu noted that AJet will initiate Damascus flights from Sabiha Gökçen and Ankara Esenboğa airports. “TICKETS ARE NOW AVAILABLE” Minister Uraloğlu stated that tickets for these flights are now on sale, saying: “The first flight from Sabiha Gökçen Airport will be on April 21, operating on Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays, and Saturdays. Ankara-Damascus flights will start on April 22, with 3 flights per week on Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Sundays. “AIMING TO INCREASE FLIGHT FREQUENCIES” With 4 flights from Sabiha Gökçen Airport and 3 from Ankara Esenboğa Airport, AJet will operate reciprocal flights to Damascus every day of the week. In the future, we aim to increase flight frequencies based on demand and operational feasibility.”
