A total of 16 drugs, five of which are cancer drugs, have been added to the reimbursement list. Minister of Labour and Social Security, Vedat Işıkhan, reported that they have increased the number of drugs covered by reimbursement which family doctors can prescribe, and also extended the validity period for many drugs. The Social Security Institution has included new drugs in the reimbursement list. Minister Işıkhan stated that five of these drugs are cancer medications. Minister Işıkhan mentioned that they have increased the number of drugs covered by reimbursement which family doctors can prescribe, and also extended the validity period for many drugs. Minister Işıkhan used the expression, “We have increased the number of drugs that family doctors and internal medicine specialist physicians can issue reports for. I hope the drugs will bring healing to our patients and wish our citizens a healthy life.”
