Changes have been made in the Regulation on Protection of the Value of Turkish Currency, allowing banks to facilitate the buying and selling of palladium, in addition to gold, silver, and platinum.

The amendment to the Regulation Regarding Decree No. 32 on the Protection of the Value of Turkish Currency published in the Official Gazette. With the publication of the amendment, palladium has been added next to gold, silver, and platinum among precious metals. Palladium has become one of the precious metals that banks can transact with.

The phrase “silver and platinum” in various articles of the Regulation has been updated to “silver, platinum, and palladium”.
