In the first quarter, Turkey exported crushed red pepper worth $3,622,000 to 59 countries. According to data compiled from the Southeastern Anatolia Exporters’ Associations, last year, $13.9 million worth of crushed red pepper was exported from Turkey to 101 countries. The export of crushed red pepper, which was $3,597,000 in the same period last year, increased to $3,622,000 in the same period this year. Germany took the lead in crushed red pepper exports with $724,000, followed by the Netherlands with $512,000 and the United Kingdom with $329,000.
