The Ministry of Trade announced that 67 companies were fined a total of 93 million TL in administrative fines in the last 6 months during e-commerce inspections.

By scrutinizing the grievances in the e-commerce market, the Ministry of Trade imposed administrative fines on 67 companies totaling 93 million TL.

It was noted that an investigation and inspections initiated in October and completed within the same year resulted in a total of 40.3 million TL in administrative fines imposed on 18 companies.

The statement included the following remarks:

“Furthermore, during the first three months of 2025 (January-March), inspections were conducted regarding distant contracts that consumers were party to in the electronic commerce sector, leading to a total of 53.4 million TL in administrative fines imposed on 49 companies, with ongoing inspections at 19 companies currently.”
