The Ministry of Trade has temporarily halted lemon exports as of April 8th. The decision regarding lemon exports was announced by the Ministry of Trade. In a statement released by the Ministry, it was noted that recent cold weather and frost incidents in certain regions of the country were taken into consideration. In order to maintain the balance between domestic supply and demand for lemons and prioritize supply security, it was stated that a decision was made, in coordination with the Ministry of Agriculture and Forestry, to halt lemon exports as of April 8, 2025. It was emphasized that market conditions are being closely monitored and that additional measures will be taken if necessary.
