The statement clarified that such a decision had not been made and that the reports did not reflect the truth. The statement included the following words: “Some media outlets on digital platforms claim that banks are directing their customers to use ATMs for transactions up to 20 thousand TL instead of using bank tellers, referencing the statements of the Association of Turkish Banks. There is no decision or statement from the Association of Turkish Banks regarding this matter.”
