The Ministry of Treasury and Finance has released the budget implementation results for February. In February, budget revenues increased by 34.9% compared to the same month last year, reaching 723 billion 425 million lira, while budget expenditures rose by 49.8% to 1 trillion 33 billion 517 million lira. In the January-February period, budget revenues surged by 42.2% to 1 trillion 640 billion 508 million lira compared to the same period last year.

During the same period, budget expenditures also increased by 43.3% to 2 trillion 89 billion 859 million lira. The central government budget showed a deficit of 310 billion 92 million lira in February and 449 billion 351 million lira in the January-February period.
