The project by the Ministry of Family and Social Services, which offers interest-free loans of 150 thousand liras to young people taking the first step towards building a family, has received 9 thousand applications from Istanbul. Supported by the Family and Youth Fund of the Ministry of Family and Social Services, the project was initially implemented in earthquake-stricken areas. After President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan announced at the Family Year Promotion Program on January 13 that the interest-free loan support provided under the Family and Youth Fund was being implemented in all 81 provinces for young couples about to get married, applications started to be made in Istanbul as well. Under the project implemented by the Ministry, about 9 thousand people in Istanbul have applied for an interest-free marriage loan of 150 thousand liras with a payment holiday of 2 years and a term of 48 months.
