The fishing season has ended in Turkey. Throughout the season, a total of $9,171,538 in foreign currency income was obtained from anchovy exports to 20 countries. The highest anchovy exports were made to Belgium. During the fishing season in Turkey, which covers the period from September 1, 2024, to April 15, 2025, a total of $9,171,538 in foreign currency income was obtained from anchovy exports to 20 countries. Belgium took the first place in anchovy exports with $2,783,030, followed by France with $2,615,636 and Germany with $1,139,164. A total of $9,171,518 in income was generated from anchovy exports equivalent to 2,606,160 kilograms to 20 countries from our country, with the highest exports of $6,647,968 being made from Samsun, and the lowest exports of $414 from Hatay province.
