The Competition Board imposed a total of 494.8 million lira in administrative fines on eight companies operating in the power transformer sector. According to the announcement made by the Competition Board, administrative fines were imposed due to collusion in sales and coordination of prices by some undertakings involved in the investigation. The companies in question and the amounts of fines imposed are as follows: Astor Enerji AŞ and EFG Elektrik Enerji AŞ – 339,807,744 lira Balıkesir Elektromanyetik Sanayi Tesisleri AŞ – 69,033,435 lira Beta Enerji ve Teknoloji AŞ – 32,315,343 lira Ekos Teknoloji ve Ticaret AŞ – 12,736,611 lira Eltaş Transformatör Sanayi ve Ticaret AŞ – 13,519,367 lira Eva Elektromekanik Sanayi ve Ticaret AŞ – 7,231,510 lira Monokon Elektrik Sanayi ve Ticaret AŞ – 898,433 lira Ulusoy Elektrik İmalat Taahhüt ve Ticaret AŞ – 19,272,557 lira
