Forbes has released the 2025 global billionaires list. Elon Musk secured the top spot with a fortune of 342 billion dollars. Additionally, 32 business people from Turkey made it to the list.

The U.S.-based business magazine Forbes, which determines the wealthiest people in the world, shared the global billionaires list for the year 2025.

This year’s list, comprised of a total of 3,028 business people, was topped by Elon Musk, an American entrepreneur known for companies such as SpaceX and Tesla, with a fortune of 342 billion dollars.

The founder of the social media platform Facebook, American business person Mark Zuckerberg, came in second place with an asset of 216 billion dollars, while the founder of the e-commerce platform Amazon, American Jeff Bezos, secured third place with a wealth of 215 billion dollars.

Larry Ellison, the co-founder and chairman of the board of the software giant Oracle, became the world’s fourth richest person with a wealth of 192 billion dollars. Bernard Arnault, the chairman of LVMH Holding, a conglomerate of 75 fashion and cosmetics brands including Louis Vuitton and Sephora, ranked fifth with a fortune of 178 billion dollars.

Renowned as one of the most successful investors of all time, Warren Buffet sat in the sixth place with a fortune of 154 billion dollars. The seventh spot was taken by Larry Page, a board member and majority shareholder of Google’s parent company Alphabet, with a wealth of 144 billion dollars, while Sergey Brin, another board member and majority shareholder of Alphabet, ranked eighth with a fortune of 138 billion dollars.

The founder of fashion brands like Zara and Bershka, Spanish business person Amancio Ortega, placed ninth on the list with a wealth of 124 billion dollars. The tenth richest person in the world was Steve Ballmer, the former CEO of the tech giant Microsoft, with a wealth of 118 billion dollars.

32 PEOPLE FROM TURKEY

Out of the total 3,028 business people on the list this year, Turkey managed to have 32 billionaires included. Leading the Turkish representatives on the list was Murat Ülker, the Chairman of Yıldız Holding, who ranked as the 639th richest person in the world with a fortune of 5.5 billion dollars. Selçuk Bayraktar, the Chairman of Baykar Technologies, secured the 1,947th spot with a wealth of 1.8 billion dollars, while Haluk Bayraktar, the General Manager of Baykar Technologies, ranked 2,110th with a fortune of 1.6 billion dollars.

MOST BILLIONAIRES FROM THE U.S.

It was notable that the number of names in Forbes’ billionaires list had increased by 247 compared to the previous year. The total value of the fortunes of the world’s wealthiest individuals reached 16.1 trillion dollars. The U.S. had the highest number of billionaires with 902 individuals, followed by China and Hong Kong with 516 billionaires, and India with 205 billionaires.
