President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan presented a certificate of appreciation to company representatives for the investment in a facility with an annual capacity of 200,000 vehicles in Samsun. Following the introduction of Turkey’s 2030 Industry and Technology Strategy, President Erdoğan presented certificates of appreciation to companies investing in Turkey. It was mentioned that the facility in Samsun, with an annual capacity of 200,000 vehicles, will produce new generation electric vehicles and parts for Chery stakeholders, as well as include an R&D center. It was stated that the investment is planned to be $1 billion and will provide employment for 5,000 people.
